What is a Wellpoint System?
A wellpoint system uses 50 mm slotted wellpoints installed into the ground and connected to a vacuum dewatering pump to lower the groundwater table. Wellpoints are typically installed at close centres around excavations, providing an efficient and cost-effective solution for keeping construction sites dry and stable.
For deep projects, wellpoints can be installed in stages with the first reducing the water level by up to five metres and a second stage installed at a lower level lowering it further.
